The Headphone Piracy are Krave Kemistry (production) and Steve Dedz (mc)
Big Beats, solid rhymes and party rhythms form the essence of Adelaide’s newest multitalented force that is Headphone Piracy.
Spearheaded by two brothers who have been making music together for over 10 years, they have performed on stages all over Australia and overseas. The eclectic mix of electronic and live instrumentation produced by Krave Kemistry puts forward a sound that resonates and pushes any sound system to its absolute limits.
When layered with the Kraves cool vocal hooks and Steve Dedz punchy social & political content in a party like ‘Fuck yeh! lets get down!’ manner, the general reaction is one of instant body movement or just plain stop and listen.
Now with their first release available as a free download on soundcloud, they are bringing their explosive live show to Blenheim Fest and not only that, they will be joined by the super talented bassist Adam Blesing (Poetikool Justice, Forest of Gnomes) on this mesmeric ride.
“nice blend of live instruments and sick melodies” Ozi Battla (the Herd, Astronomy Class)
“Amazing! Just lying in bed loving it with a spliff!!!” Ezekiel Ox (The Nerve, Mammal)
“crazy stage presence!” Koolta (2008 hilltop hoods initiative winner)
